Mom's blog got the nix. I kind of knew that day was coming, but decided to wait and see what would happen. I mean, if you aren't actually writing acurate details and you keep all identifying information private, what harm does it do to tell a good tale? Well someone must have thought it was a bad idea. I just hope her blog can evolve and take a different route and survive. She actually has quite a few fans out there. I am proud of her. I can tell that in the short time she has been blogging, her writing style has smoothed out and been polished up a bit. Can't say the same for mine, unfortunately. What blogging has done for me is to show me that people still care. Blogs can bring us women together and share our stories. We can lift each other up when we're feeling low. And I get great random-acts-of-kindness ideas from the moms blogging out there. Too bad we can't always say exactly how we feel. I have started my job search and I wouldn't want potential employers Googling me and thinking i'm a crazy person (unless there is someone with the same name who IS a crazy person... yikes!) But in the end, my blog has helped me try to pick out what is good in life and post about it. Good things I am thinking of right now:
fried chicken
Pho
books
socks
flavored coffee
clean clothes
