Today was another great day at work. I did orientation with my supervisor all day, then came home and attempted to go on a walk. But i saw a dark distant cloud moving my way, so i cut it short. Storms here in Florida are not like back home. At home, if you get caught in a rain shower, no big deal. It barely rains, and lightning only strikes once in a while far away. Not here. Nobody told me that the lightning here fills the entire sky like an upside down tree. "Welcome to the lightning capital of the U.S." they tell me. And don't even think about getting caught in a storm. Lightning WILL strike right beside you so hard your insides shake and your ears ring. Rain WILL pound you at full force and the wind will carry you away. And it all happens so fast you didn't see it coming. Fun!
So there's a picture of the desk with the new green liner paper. Now I can safely put things into the drawers without grossness. What do ya think?
