Lately, I have had a few difficult things to deal with. Strange things are happening and everyone is under a lot of stress. It is hard to keep a clear head when problems seem to be swirling around you and the answers are not clear. I try to be the best person I can. I try to be a better person each day. But no one is perfect, and I often make mistakes. Perhaps it is easier to get along with people if you avoid assigning blame and just focus on finding a solution or compromise so that everyone ends up okay. What good does it do to blame someone, anyway? This is the lesson I am learning.I just have to get through another two months of classes. This week, I will be traveling to Charlotte for my audiology convention. I look forward to it, because you never know what will happen. It's a giant whirlwind of educational sessions, talks by famous audiologists and researchers, student activities, and parties! I am always fond of the free food. They usually go all out and serve gourmet treats for each function. You never know what you will learn or who you will meet. Plus, I am staying with my good friends, so a good time is sure to be had.
