This is my beautiful religion. I never really talk about the fact that I am a Baha'i, but it has such an influence on how I live my life. I guess I shy away from sounding like I want to "convert" people, because that is not what I want to do. What I would like, however, is to share the Baha'i Faith with you so you know what it is and maybe understand why I like it so much.

Right now, Bahai's all over the world have started fasting to prepare for the new year (on our calendar). It's about cleansing yourself spiritually and saying lots of prayers so that you are able to receive whatever you need to from God. You are supposed to eat and drink only when the sun is down. I am skipping the Fast this year, but I will be saying some dawn prayers instead.
I think the world needs as many prayers as it can get right now.
