I was sad to see that my favorite blog in the whole world has not been updated in quite some time. ....aka it hasn't been updated since 2004!!! First of all, how scary is it that I have been busy with school for so long that I haven't been keeping up with this site for almost that long? Second, he must be just as busy to not have updated!
The site is called Hunkabutta.com and it's run by a Canadian photographer who moved his family to Japan for a while. Photography is not his profession, but he really has an amazing talent and passion for it. The picture to the left is one that he took of his son, Jack, in Thailand. His prints are so beautiful, and he is gracious enough to let you buy prints of his work from his website. You almost get to know his family through the blog, and it's sweet to see his kids growing up through pictures. Sad to see it inactive now, but he's got two young kids and lives in the middle of the woods- a far cry from the urban Japanese lifestyle. He'll find his muse eventually.
