I bet it's been 3 or 4 months since pictures were taken of me. I just never remember to actually take a picture of myself to use for things like facebook. Ugh, i don't care much for facebook anyway. This morning I was listening to a radio show about crazy people and stalkers. One woman's friends wanted her to get out and date so as a joke they put her up on the craigslist personal ads. Some guy ended up stalking her like in the movies where he showed up outside her house, followed her around, and even went to her daughter's elementary school and told her "i'm gonna be your daddy someday" or something. Yikes! One lady was asked out by a guy who came to her office all the time from another contracted company. Her friends told her to go, so she went, and he turned out to be a psycho who put her up as an X-rated personal ad to craigslist. Apparently, she got 90 phone calls in less than one hour from that posting.
There are crazy people everywhere. It's true. Social networking sites like facebook do make it easier for people to take it too far, even when you've got your profile set to private. It's too bad, because there are also a lot of good people out there to meet.
On a different note, I just prepared my first job application. It is stamped, sealed, and ready to be mailed tomorrow morning!
